I do all translating, editing and proofreading assignments myself and never contract work out. This means you can be assured of personal attention and a direct, personal answer to any questions you may have.
I am a sworn translator for Dutch into English and German into English (registered at the District Court of The Hague). This means I meet the required standards and have sworn an oath before a civil court judge that I will translate honestly, correctly and impartially.
Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators
I am listed in the official Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (registration number 136).
All source documents and translations will remain confidential at all times, in accordance with the General Conditions of the Netherlands Society of Interpreters and Translators (NGTV).
On request, I will also be pleased to perform assignments at your office and sign a confidentiality agreement.
Tailored to the target audience
It is vital to know who you are writing for. And whether the text is an academic article, an interview or a personal investment proposal, you can be sure I will always use an appropriate style.
Over the years I have built up my own terminology database, but will be happy to use your house-style guides and terminology so as to ensure consistent style and language in all your documentation and correspondence.
